  1. What is Personal Information?

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, we define “Personal Information” as your first and last name, your e-mail address, your home or other physical address, including a street name and name of a city or town, your telephone number, personal physical characteristics, your social security number, any payment or financial information, or any other identifier that permits us to contact a natural human person, like you, and/or any information that we maintain that could be used to identify you in combination with any of the identifying information described above.

Personal Information does not include “aggregate” information, which is data we collect automatically about use of the Site.

We collect the following information:

Information You Give Us: We collect and store any Personal Information that you choose to provide in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please note: it is your choice to provide us with this information. You can choose not to provide such Personal Information, in which case you may not be able to access or use portions of the Services or some of their features. Please note that information you post online in any profile associated with you, or in connection with any blogs, listings, public or private groups, forums, or any other interactive features of the Services, will be available to other users of those features and in some cases may be publicly available.

Aggregate Information: The Privacy Policy does not restrict or limit our collection and use of aggregate information, and we reserve the right to share such aggregate information within our organization, potential partners, or other third parties without restriction.

Automated Collection: We may automatically receive and store certain types of Personal Information when you visit the Site, such as the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the IP address of the computer you are using and the browser and operating system you are using; information about any mobile device you use to access the Site including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information; the date and time you access the Site; the Internet address of the websites from which you linked to the Site; any search terms you used to find or navigate the Site; and your actions on the Site. This information will be treated as Personal Information if we combine or link it to any of the identifying information above. Otherwise, this information constitutes aggregate information.

Cookies: We may also automatically receive and store certain types of information when you visit the Site through the use of cookies, web beacons, or similar programs to collect the information described above. A cookie is a small text file that is sent to your computer to collect information about your activities on the Site. The cookie transmits this information back to the applicable Site each time your browser requests a page from the Site. We may also use cookies to maintain session information you provide to us, so that when you leave the Site and return, the Site will recognize your device. “Web beacons” are small pieces of code placed on websites used to collect advertising metrics, such as counting page views, promotion views, or advertising responses. We may also use cookies or web beacons to measure aggregate web statistics, including the number of monthly visitors, number of repeat visitors, most popular webpages and other information. Cookies do not contain any Personal Information and it is our policy not to track your Internet usage outside of the Site. However, you always have a choice with regard to cookies. You can modify your browser preferences to allow you to accept or reject all cookies or to notify you when a cookie is set. If you choose to reject all cookies, you may be unable to use certain areas of the Site. Please consult your browser instructions for information on how to modify your choices about cookies. Finally, you may delete any existing cookies manually from the hard drive of your device. For more information about cookies, please visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

Log Data: Our web servers may also collect “log data.” Log data provides aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on the Site. We may use log data for troubleshooting purposes and to track which pages people visit in order to improve the Site. We do not link log data collected to Personal Information. Third-party vendors may also collect aggregate log data independently from us.

Credit Cards: Please note that, if you purchase or pay for services via our Site, we ask you to provide us with your credit card number, expiration date, and authentication codes or related information to complete the purchase. Services may only be purchased by persons over the age of 18. If you use the Site to purchase services, our service vendor(s) (such as PayPal or other such vendor) that may be responsible for processing your payment (and its affiliates or agents) (“Credit Card Company”), has its own Privacy Policy and those terms will apply to you. Please be sure to review them at the links provided during payment processing. The policies of the Credit Card Company are also considered a part of this Privacy Policy and part of your User Agreement with us. If you use another website to purchase our services, you do so at your own risk and you should carefully review the privacy policy and terms of any such websites.

Areas of the Site where you can purchase services may be run by the Credit Card Company, which uses reasonable efforts to accept credit cards safely and securely. The Credit Card Company protects personal information (at a minimum) to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (“PCI DSS”), which is the bankcard industry’s most stringent security standard. The information you provide to us or the Credit Card Company, such as cardholder name, credit card number, billing address, check routing number, account number, or the like, will be used by us in connection with the Credit Card Company for the purpose of correctly authorizing your purchase. Any information you provide on or through any such area of the Site is subject to the Credit Card Company’s policies.

“Do Not Track”: Section 22575 of the California Business & Professions Code requires websites and online service operators to disclose whether they honor web browser “Do Not Track” settings. We support and honor “Do Not Track” web browser settings. If you enable Do Not Track settings in the browser you are using, we will not collect, store, or use Personal Information about websites you visit using that browser other than the Site. Other parties, however, may not honor Do Not Track signals. These parties may collect Personal Information about your online activities over time and across different pages when you visit the Site, for example by using cookies on our Site. We have no access to or control over other parties’ Personal Information collection practices, even those with which we may have an affiliation. You should carefully review the privacy policy and terms of any websites you visit. For more information about Do Not Track, please visit www.allaboutdnt.org.

All of our employees with access to the Personal Information you provide to us through the Site or through any other means are bound by policies prohibiting the unauthorized disclosure and/or use of your Personal Information.

Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, security measures are neither perfect nor impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. To mitigate this risk, your responsibilities are to (a) use secure usernames and passwords and carefully protect them from disclosure and (b) implement updated internet security and virus protection on your computer. If you suspect that your computer’s security or your information has been compromised or your password accessed or used by an unauthorized third party, please contact us immediately to have your password changed.

If we become aware of a security systems breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may post a notice through the Site or Services if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to use in these circumstances. If we obtain the required consent from the parent or guardian of a child under 13, we will only ask for Personal Information that is reasonably necessary for the provision of services agreed upon and will store such Personal Information for only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill these purposes. If you are an organization, parent, or other User, you certify you will not permit or request that children under 13 submit information to us via our services directly. We recommend that organizations provide a copy of our Privacy Policy to parents and guardians of any children whose information the organization may submit to the Club’s services.
